Tumbatu Island; Traditional Dhow Experience

Located just off Zanzibar’s northwest coast near Nungwi and Kendwa, Tumbatu Island is one of the oldest settlements in the Zanzibar archipelago. Unlike many other islands, it remains largely untouched by tourism. Travel by traditional dhow boat across the turquoise waters, enjoy snorkelling and peaceful beaches far away from the crowds, followed by traditional Swahili BBQ cooked food.
